Overview
AIPM is a terminal-based AI project manager that runs locally on your machine. It optionally connects to Google APIs (Gmail and Google Calendar) to enhance task management. This policy explains what data is accessed, how it's used, and how it's stored.
What data we access
Gmail (readonly)
Email subjects, sender addresses, dates, and body content from unread inbox emails. This data is used to surface actionable emails as task suggestions. AIPM only reads unread inbox emails.
Google Calendar (readonly)
Event titles, dates, times, locations, and descriptions. This data provides scheduling context for task management.
No write access
AIPM cannot send emails, create calendar events, or modify any Google data.
How we use your data
- Email data is processed locally by AI to identify actionable items and suggest tasks.
- Calendar data provides scheduling context when managing tasks.
- Data is used solely within the AIPM application on your device.
- No data is used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than task management.
Data storage
- All data is processed and stored locally on your machine only.
- OAuth tokens are stored as a local file in the AIPM data directory.
- No data is transmitted to any server other than Google's APIs.
- No cloud storage, no databases, no server-side processing.
Data sharing
- We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any third party.
- Data never leaves your device except for direct API calls to Google.
- No analytics, no tracking, no telemetry.
Data retention and deletion
Email and calendar data is held in memory during use and not persisted beyond the current session. OAuth tokens are stored locally until you disconnect your Google account.
To delete all Google-related data: disconnect your Google account in AIPM settings. This removes the stored token from your device. You can also revoke access directly at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Google API Services User Data Policy
AIPM's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Security
- Authentication uses OAuth 2.0 with PKCE (Proof Key for Code Exchange).
- No passwords are ever stored or transmitted by AIPM.
- Tokens are stored with your filesystem's default permissions.
Children's privacy
AIPM is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
Updates will be posted on this page with a revised date. Significant changes will be noted in release notes on GitHub.
